Welcome to South End

Not to be confused with South Boston, the South End is located directly South of Back Bay. This neighborhood features classic brick row-homes, loft style condos in converted warehouses, and new luxury highrise buildings. The northernmost area of the neighborhood has the more historical “Boston” feel, while SOWA (South of Washington Ave) is home to more of the loft-style spaces. With the South End’s Tremont Street and Washington Street dubbed “Restaurant Row”, this neighborhood is home to many of Boston’s top restaurants. SOWA features a popular weekend open air market with food trucks from May through October, in addition to local artist galleries.
